Anthony Milo was born in the Bronx and learned to make pizza at seventeen, working a restaurant in a Florida mall. In 1993 he came to Las Vegas and opened Dal Italia on Flamingo Road, where he fed a generation of Chaparral High students — he even served slices at the school for lunch in the ’90s.
He ran Dal Italia until 2011, then opened Anthony’s Pizza and Deli downtown on Casino Center for the courthouse crowd. He sold that in 2015 and moved back to Florida to be near family — and missed the desert the whole time. In 2021 he came back and opened Anthony’s Pizzeria & Deli on Horizon Ridge. His old customers found him within weeks.
